Peter Lang (Plang to those who know him) has been telling stories using data for all of his working life.
From radio playlist music research in the broadcast industry in the 90’s to Retail Workforce Management at one of Australia’s ‘big four’ banks, he builds data systems that are fit-for-purpose, useful and timely.
Over the last twelve years, he has worked with large enterprise businesses across Australia/NZ in finding the optimal balance for their branch workforce balancing customer experience, sales effectiveness and operational execution.
Plang also has a keen interest in data management, reporting and analytics of all sizes and scales. He has extensive experience in designing large data collection studies with solid statistical methodologies and tools, and delivering them to tight timeframes and budgets.
With a Bachelor of Science (Statistics) from RMIT University, Plang knows the value of a properly balanced ANOVA and, as an experienced presenter, when not to bore an audience with those details.
